The Hunger Games By Suzanne Collins

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games. But Katniss has been close to dead before—and survival, for her, is second nature. Without really meaning to, she becomes a contender. But if she is to win, she will have to start making choices that will weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

My Thoughts:
The Hunger Games...........i had heard this name probably about a thousand times before i read it.
And now that i have finished it; i am speechless.

There is not much to say about the book but that its beautifully written. The characters feel realer than reality. And even though this book is nothing like real life; you can't help but relate to it.

I really dont have much to say about this book. It is THAT GOOD!!
Good is a very small word. if there was a word made to describes all the positive adjectives then it would be for this book.

This was my very first dystopian novel and it had me hooked. from the first page to the last page.

And now that i have finished it i have only one thing to say:
The odds do not seem to be in their favour.

Absolutely riveting, the plot keeps you up all nights until you finish it; only wanting more.

The Hunger Games Trilogy has become my favourite.

I still have no idea why i am writing this....if you have not read this....READ IT!!
Do not waste time..Go right now and read it !!
