Before telling you my over all feelings about this book; let me just take this time to say that this trilogy is one of my favourites.


That being said; WOW! So much happens in this book, so quickly.
Belly, Jeremiah and Conrad have all grown up. They are the same and yet not the same; at the same time.
Jeremiah and Belly are together in this book. As you might know if you remember where the last book ended.
NOOOOOO!!!!! I'm team Conrad!!
Although Jeremiah's a nice guy but he makes some mistakes which makes Belly think about her relationship for a while and then they both (Jeremiah and Belly) jump into something big. And Conrad is left in a corner.
Conrad, though flawed; is a nice guy and I believe that he deserves his happily ever after. Especially after Conrad's POV that are included in this book.
But I guess fate has other plans for the three, or maybe not?


This trilogy is AMAZING! I have said it before and I'll say it again: READ THIS TRILOGY!


I teared up at the end with the whole letters and the big decisions that Belly ends up making.


This trilogy will (UNDOUBTEDLY) stay with me for a long long time. And I will find myself going back to Cousins Beach again and again and again.

My Thoughts: 
Jenny Han has done it again.
I loved; absoloutely LOVED the first book in the trilogy. And i wasnt sure of what was going to happen in the next book. And boy! Was i blown away!!
I think that's the best part of this trilogy; you can never be completely sure of what is about to happen. The love triangles and complicated emotions all lead to an uncertain end. The book keeps you guessing along the way.

Cousins Beach - It almost seems like I've been there. Reading this book has made the house seem familiar. It's almost like I know the place, the beach, Jeremiah and Conrad.
I often find myself wanting it all to be real. But then again who won't?
People would kill for Summers like these. But not in this second book. Everything is serious now that Conrad has left unexpectedly.

Belly has to chose who matters the most: Someone who is right for her or her first love?

Oh! And by the way, I'm team Conrad. Always.

Read the series if you haven't. You have no idea what you are missing!

What did I think about this book? I'm still not sure.


I thought it was going to be an amazing read, I can not say the same now; I'm afraid.
Starting this book I had only one opinion about Parker Fadley " what a b*tch!"
Really! I thought she was the most self-centered character I have ever read about.
But as the story develops and you understand that things have happened in the past that made her this way; your opinions start to change. In my case just slightly.


Parker tries to alienate herself from everyone. And the night that changed everything is described bit by bit in the book.


I read this book, it was okay. Can't say any more than that; because I don't know what to say. I'm still confused with my feelings on this book. All the swear words and Parker's character made reading this book a little disturbing.
Why don't you be the judge of this book? Since this review won't be helping you much. I guess.

there are people who like this book, some actually love it. I'm not one of those people.


I borrowed this book from a friend; I gave it back to her half unread. I hated it then and I hate it now.
I tried to like this book. Me finally finishing this book this year explains that.


Sometimes when you don't like a book; you at least like some of its parts, characters, storyline..........something. But I did not like ANYTHING. Nada.zilch!
The characters were boring, the story was confusing. It was dreadful really. There are a few books I dislike this much, unfortunately Wicked Lovely is one of them.


I will not be reading the rest of the books in the series.
I recommend this book to those who have a lot of time to waste.

Stephanie Perkins has done it again.
After reading Anna And The French Kiss, i had my doubts about this book. If it would be able to surpass the awesomeness that was the debut novel. And now that ive finished it. *swoons* . This book is awesome, i loved it as much as i loved Anna And The French Kiss !!

Lola Nolan and Cricket Bell. After hearing those names who could pass this book off? Seriously???
I'm a sucker for such kind of names. And did i mention that the guy is cute and sweet and funny and charming??? or the most important thing-he is the boy next door???

You cannot help but fall in love with all of the characters except, ofcourse Max. I hated him from the start. And his rudeness is................very rude!

The gay dads, birth mother, the Bell twins, Max all of these things along with Lola are what made this novel a wonderful read.
I've said it before and I'll say it again; I like books which start right away without unnecessary descriptions. This book fulfilled that requirement.

I really like how Cricket writes on his hands. That was very relate-able. And how Anna makes bad decisions sometimes; it makes this book realistic.

I also loved how this book wasn't just about Lola and Cricket but it was about Anna finding herself, who she is underneath all those layers of cloth and make up.

Overall, I loved this book!!! it will make you gush and swoon just like Anna And The French Kiss did. If you have not read Anna And the French Kiss yet. then I recommend you read that first. Because one of the most amazing things is that Anna and St. Claire are also a part of this book.
Read this book!!! if there was ever a word sweeter than sweet, I would say it for this book.

I will be eagerly waiting for more books by Stephanie Perkins!!

My Thoughts:
I'd heard good things about this book.
Who wouldn't like a book about a girl going on a trip with her ex-boyfriend who just happened to break up with her because of a Myspace girl he made up? No One!!

A good book, good characters, good plot. That's just the problem. Everything was good. not great. I wonder why I liked it but didn't love it. It was written very nicely. I liked how her thoughts were part of the book. This made me know the characters more. And I absolutely loved the way the whole book was put: before. Trip. After.
I like books that don't drag. What's supposed to happen, happens at the right time and there are no unnecessary descriptions and explanations. This was exactly that kind of a book. I was hooked from the first chapter.
I may not have loved it but I definitely had a fun time reading it.With all the she-trying-to-make-him-jealous and he-pretending-not-to-care, what is there not to enjoy?
And the cheese part; when in burger king she cries. I was cracking up along with "awee that's cute".

Should you read this book? Heck yes!!
Alot of swearing though.

I had heard nothing but good stuff from everyone about this book. But what really made me pick up this book and read was what Sarah Dessen had said about it:

"This book has what every girl wants in a summer."

And Sarah Dessen being one of my favourite authors; i HAD to read it!

First of all, how cute is the name Belly? I'll answer that, very cute!!
this book had me hooked since the first page. If you've ever been the kind of person who everyone thinks is a kid. then this book is for you. And if you aren't, then this book is for you as well.
I cant sum up my love for this book, I'll just be blabbering in this review. my apologies!
So this book is about Belly (the main character) and how she goes to Cousins Beach every year with her mother and brother. She is head over heels in LOVE with Conrad.
Every year at cousins beach is the same. Full of fun, laughter, joy and happiness. so much that she waits the whole year for summer. But this summer is different. This summer she turns pretty.
And OH.MY.GOD!! is this summer awesome, or what?!?!?
I liked how the author has also put the events that have happened in the past summers when Belly was 14,12,13,11 and 5 ....

I cant say much about this book, I fear I'll spoil it for you. So go and read it. Finish up the book you're reading right now and then read this book. It's worth it. trust me.
Jenny Han is now in my list of awesome authors. I love her for writing this trilogy.

This is a perfect summer book. But its not summer any more and that didn't stop me from enjoying it. Read this book and fall in love with the trilogy as much as I did!

  My Thoughts:

I wanted to like this book. I wanted to laugh out loud at the funny scenes but I just couldn't. This book was okay-ish

Why did the whole a girl-dresses-up-as-a-boy and goes to a boys school not impress me? I don't know. But what I do know is that i dragged myself to the end of the book. I wasn't interested in reading this book much. I kept telling myself that this book is going to get better but it never did. The end and everything in between were quite predictable.

Nevertheless; the way the author has written this book is both witty and smart. I liked how Natalie writes the article in the end; summing up her whole experience.

Most people enjoyed this book and some even loved it. The books not bad. It's okay. The kind of book I would read when I was really very bored (which I was).
But you should give it a try; maybe you'll love it?

  My Thoughts:

For all those who do not know ( do you seriously not know???? ) Beastly is a modern retelling of Beauty And The Beast.

Let me start off by saying that i watched the movie first and read the book afterwards.
I never thought i was going to say this but, the movie was better than the book. Only by a fraction; but it still was.
This is the first book that im reading by Alex Flinn and it was wonderfully written. I cannot wait to read all of his other books especially "A Kiss In Time".

The book tells the same story as that of Beauty and the Beast; but some minor details have been changed. Which only seems necessary as it is a "modern" retelling.
My favourite character would have to be Will. I just enjoyed his character all throughout the book. And of-course Mr.Anderson and all other fairytale characters.
What i did not like about the book was that Kyle was completely described as a beast. I knew that he would be a beast, but after watching the movie i was kind of disappointed by reading that he had claws and hair all over.
But i guess that makes it partially realistic, right? he is a beast in the literal sense.
But what i really disliked was that he had a lipless mouth. I know.I know. Not that big of a deal! but that particular information was fine not known by me.

The transformation from this selfish cruel person to a warm hearted one. How he comes to love the people around him was very nicely described.

The book ends in an amazing way. I really didn't see that coming. I was kind of shocked; but then slowly it made sense.

I recommend you read this book before you watch the movie. I definitely enjoyed reading it.

Now i know why everyone loved this book................ Because its FREAKING AMAZING!!?!!

I cannot put into words how much i enjoyed reading Anna And The French Kiss. It had everything a book should have:
A good sense of humour, wittiness and A perfect guy with a British accent *sigh*. I recommend you go buy it now.

This is undoubtedly one of the best YA contemporary novels i have read so far. I really like the way this book is written .I especially loved the name Anna Oliphant and how it is turned into Banana Elephant.
One of the very best things i liked about this book was it starts right away.

I hate it when the story line is dragged and it takes a lot of pages to get to where the story actually begins. But Anna And The French Kiss had me hooked from page #01 to page#372.

This novel is such a light, good, funny read which makes you fall in love with each and everyone of its characters.
Did i mention this novel takes place in Paris? That reason alone should be enough for you to pick the book up; and i can guarantee you will not be able to put it back down.
Did i tell you that John Green LOVED this book too??? Yeah, well he did!

I recommend that everyone read this book.The words "Paris" and "love" should be enough. And if they aren't..................then you will find loads more when you actually read it.
I will be looking out for books by this author for sure.

My Thoughts:
Let me start off by saying that this review is completely spoiler free.


After months of hearing about The Hunger Games and how much everyone seemed to love it, i decided to give it a try. Only to regret not reading it earlier.
This book is a roller-coaster of emotions; which promises everything from suspense to love to friendship. But the one thing that this book does not promise is a future.


I do not think that there is a word in the English language which could properly describe this book. Wonderful? Amazing? all these words seem small compared to the feeling that you get when you finish this trilogy.


Electrifying ... seems best fit. Each and every page sends spasms running through your body as you try to decipher the fate of all those you hold dear.


This book does not let you guess the ending at all. Everytime that i thought i knew what was going to happen; a complete turn of events left me shocked.


I feel sorry for Katniss and Peeta as they are thrown into terrible situations again and again. constantly being used as players in a game they now nothing of.
You can see each character grow slowly; Katniss, Peeta, Gale, Finnick, Prim, Haymitch all changing.


I understand what Katniss has been through. But i agree with Haymitch when he says to Katniss:


"You could live a hundred lifetimes and not deserve him you know."


I would like to praise the author for writing "The Hunger Games." This book is an unmatched brilliance which will continue to surprise its readers again and again and again.


The characters grow on each page; they grow onto you, into your life.


My eyes were full of tears by the end of the book. Everything is kept close to reality. The ending isn't a happily ever after, nor is it as bad as one might expect.


I guess that is the beauty of this book. You cannot expect everyone to be the way that they were. Once you enter a war your life is completely altered and once you enter the hunger games; there is no going back.

OH.MY.GOD! OH.MY.GOD!

this book was AMAZING. i cant figure out if i like this book more than the first one. I guess they both have their rightful place in my imaginary shelf of awesomeness (if that even makes sense )
I'll start off by saying that this trilogy has become my favourite.
i never thought that i could ever love a book as much as i loved harry potter. But this definitely is THE ONE.
What i love about this trilogy is that not for a single moment did i feel tired or bored of reading about Panem. But i loved each and every second of it.
This book is a page-turner; by every definition of the word page-turner.
Each and every page describes what you never thought possible. Each time that you think that now finally things will turn out good for Katniss and Peeta; there goes the capitol surprising us all. Or should i say "there goes the author surprising us all"

I cant begin to describe how much i love the author for writing such an incredible book.
From the uprising to the games and from Haymitch to president Snow this book will keep you on your toes till you finish it. wanting for more.

My Thoughts:
The Hunger Games...........i had heard this name probably about a thousand times before i read it.
And now that i have finished it; i am speechless.

There is not much to say about the book but that its beautifully written. The characters feel realer than reality. And even though this book is nothing like real life; you can't help but relate to it.

I really dont have much to say about this book. It is THAT GOOD!!
Good is a very small word. if there was a word made to describes all the positive adjectives then it would be for this book.

This was my very first dystopian novel and it had me hooked. from the first page to the last page.

And now that i have finished it i have only one thing to say:
The odds do not seem to be in their favour.

Absolutely riveting, the plot keeps you up all nights until you finish it; only wanting more.

The Hunger Games Trilogy has become my favourite.

I still have no idea why i am writing this....if you have not read this....READ IT!!

  My Thoughts:
This book was wonderful.


I had little idea what this book was about when i started. I was blown away by how beautifully Edgar Allan Poe was woven into the plot.


I hate one thing about me. And its that i cannot like a book in which a guy has piercings and long hair. I just cant. This has been the reason for most of my books being half read. I find it hard to visualize the character and actually like it.
But this book was on a completely different scale.


I loved the chemistry between Isobel and Varen. Though two completely different people; they seemed right for each other from the start. I can definitely relate with Isobel because of her curiosity towards Varen and his black journal.


The writing is simple but very vivid. You cant help but be a part of the book.
I felt Isobel's embarassment in the cafeteria and on other such occasions. And wanted to strangle her stupid boyfriend and selfish friends.


It was the middle when things started getting intense. When so many things were happening and you couldnt understand why.


It didnt end the way i wanted. But im glad that there is a sequel coming up, which i will read as soon as possible.


This book is a definite favourite!

My Thoughts:

This book was hilarious. so funny. I love the entire Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella.
Though i may add, that the only reason i read this book was because of Luke Brandon. I have a thing for fictional characters. Anyway, this book was really funny and had me laughing the whole time.

The one thing that i did not like about this book was that Luke does not get to know that Elinor was behind the surprise party.


This book gives the impression that Elinor has changed and really wants to know Luke. So it seemed only fair that Luke should know that She was the one with the bigger hand behind the surprise birthday party. I was hoping by the end of this book that he might get to know the truth; but he did not. That goes to a little down side for me.
But all in all the book was an amazing read. Minnie's "miiinnneee", the Ultimate Nannies and Becky definitely cracked me up!

Words don't even begin to describe how much i loved this book.

Nicholas Sparks writes amazing novels and i fell in love with his writing since i first read "A Walk To Remember."
I finished this book in two days. It was a page turner. I COULD NOT put it down. Its been a while since i cried after reading. So i was quite surprised at myself when the tears kept falling from my eyes.
It was so good that i tried my best to read it as slowly as i possibly could. Because i just did not want it to end.

My favorite character would have to be Steve (Ronnie's dad). I loved him when he believed in Ronnie. I loved him when he did the best he could to make his children happy. I loved him because of the beautiful bond that developed during summer; between him and his kids.

It was a beautiful book.

I watched the movie an hour after i finished this book, so imagine my disappointment when i saw that the book and the movie were NOTHING alike.
Unlike many people i think Miley Cyrus was the perfect Ronnie in appearance. But her acting not very much. The Ronnie in my mind was very different than the Ronnie on the screen. And the sarcasm was much better in the book.
I cannot say the same for Jonah though. I LOVED HIM. In the book as well as in the movie. He is such a cute kid.

I would give the book FIVE STARS
and the movie TWO STARS.

This book was really really good. Mitch Albom is a really good writer.
I loved the lessons that each of the five people taught Eddie.

The one thing which got a little annoying was "Today Is Eddie's Birthday". I know that it was supposed to give an insight to Eddie's life but i couldn't get myself to like it as much as i loved the parts in "For One More Day".

I absolutely loved reading "Times my mother stood up for me" and "Times i did not stand up for my mother". They were tear-jerkers. I cried each time reading them.

I am not comparing "Five People You Meet In Heaven" with "For One More Day". They were both amazing in their own way.
I'm just pointing out tha the part "Today Is Eddie's Birthday" got a little annoying for me.

But i recommend this book to everyone. It has life's greatest lessons in it. How wonderful it would be if we all could make sense of our yesterdays. The reasons for what we did and what we didn't; and how it affected everyone around us.
